Sector-focused private equity firm Kester has invested in Addresscloud, a leading provider of geospatial risk intelligence solutions for the insurance sector, marking the sixth investment from its £200m Kester Capital III fund, which closed in March 2024.
Addresscloud delivers detailed risk and climate insights to insurers, enabling faster, more informed underwriting decisions. The company is positioned to benefit from the digitisation of insurance workflows and the growing availability of property and climate data, trends that are driving strong market growth.
Kester’s backing will support Addresscloud’s expansion, including investment in product development, go-to-market capabilities, and the company’s footprint in the UK and international markets. The deal continues Kester’s focus on high-growth subscription information and data businesses, following prior investments in DC Byte, a data centre intelligence provider, and Vixio, a regulatory intelligence firm that returned 4.8x to investors.
