LLR Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm, has closed LLR Equity Partners VII with $2.45bn in commitments, exceeding the $1.8bn raised for its previous fund in 2020. The fund will continue the firm’s 25-year strategy of investing in lower middle market growth companies, with a focus on the technology and healthcare sectors.
The fund attracted commitments from a global base of both returning and new investors, alongside significant participation from LLR’s partners and employees.
Consistent with prior funds, LLR 7 will target both majority and minority equity investments, providing capital for growth initiatives, recapitalisations, and buyouts. With a team of more than 100 professionals, a dedicated value creation group, and a network of Senior Operating Advisors, LLR Partners has already deployed capital from LLR 7 into five companies: KEEPS, Nonstop Health, Soltis Investment Advisors, Suvoda, and TurboTenant.
Asante Capital Group served as placement agent, while Latham & Watkins provided legal counsel for the fund.
