Cappitech, a provider of automated regulatory reporting technology for the financial services industry, has secured USD4 million in series A financing.
The financing round was led by 83North with participation from Rony Grushka and Kevin Gould, co-founders of Markit, one of the world’s most highly respected financial information companies with a market cap of USD20 billion. As part of the agreement, Rony Grushka, renowned for his expertise in accelerating global business growth, joins the Cappitech board.

Lawyers from Carey Olsen in Guernsey and Jersey have advised Silverfleet Capital on the sale of Ipes, a leading provider of fund administration and other outsourced services in the private equity sector, to Apex Group.
Silverfleet Capital, a pan-European private equity firm, has owned Ipes since acquiring it from RJD Partners in 2013. Since then, Ipes has achieved strong organic growth and has strengthened its pan-European footprint by more than doubling both number of clients and staff. Headquartered in Guernsey, Ipes now has 265 staff across five European offices. It works with 195 clients and provides administration and depositary oversight
Global fintech firm InvestCloud Inc has announced the acquisition of London-based rplan Limited for USD20 million.
rplan is a provider of client engagement technology in the UK to support bespoke investment propositions for web and mobile. Its client base includes some of the largest institutional asset managers in the world, including four of the top eight in the UK.
The firm writes that rplan has had significant success enabling asset managers to digitize their existing retail clients and catapult the development of their digital strategy to support multi-channel distribution.

Claroty, a specialist in cybersecurity for industrial control networks, has secured USD60 million in Series B funding from a prominent syndicate of investors, including industrial operators and control system vendors, bringing the company’s total investment to date to USD93 million.
The round was led by Temasek and included Rockwell Automation, Aster Capital (Sponsored by Schneider Electric), Next47 (Siemens-backed global venture firm), Envision Ventures, and Tekfen Ventures. Original Claroty investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Team8, Innovation Endeavors, and ICV all participated in the round.

The deal value has not been undisclosed.
