Private investment firm GI Partners has acquired Group Management Software and Payments specialist Togetherwork from Aquiline Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm investing in financial services and technology.
Financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

Tikehau Capital, a pan-European alternative asset management and investment company, and SPRIM Ventures, a medical and scientific consultancy firm, has held the initial closing of their first venture capital fund, TKS1, which will focus on early stage investments in med-tech and life science companies. Total committed capital for the fund as of its initial closing is USD50 million.

Law firm Paul Hastings has signed a pre-let agreement to locate its new London office at 100 Bishopsgate.
The firm will take the top two floors of the 37-storey tower totalling circa 40,000 sq ft Paul Hastings joins other confirmed occupants including Royal Bank of Canada, Jefferies and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. The target date for Paul Hastings’ occupancy in 100 Bishopsgate is in the Third Quarter of 2019.

PineBridge Investments, has closed its latest secondary fund, PineBridge Secondary Partners IV (PSP IV), with total capital commitments of USD568 million, above an initial target of USD500 million.
PSP IV attracted a global investor base, represented by a wide range of limited partners from the Americas, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, including pension plans, insurers, family offices, and financial services organisations. Palamon Capital Partners is to sell OberScharrer Group to Nordic Capital Fund IX (Nordic Capital). The sale, which is subject to regulatory approvals, will generate investment returns of 3.6x invested capital for Palamon. The full terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
OberScharrer is the largest ophthalmology group in Germany, delivering more than 85,000 treatments per year through its circa 80 clinics.
