Paylend, a Kenyan FinTech startup focused on providing access to finance and digitising MSMEs in Kenya, has raised USD2 million in seed investment from Next Chymia Consulting HK Limited, an Asian based company that provides blockchain applications, consultancy services and training to global entities.
Founded in September 2019, Paylend has digitised over 10,000 SMEs and growing with its users enjoying an array of services including access to credit for products and services and crowdfunding tools.

Korify Capital has launched its first venture fund, Korify Capital Fund ONE, which is targeting USD100 million for breakthrough biotech investments with a focus on longevity and mental health.

Bielenda Kosmetyki Naturalne, a portfolio company of Innova Capital, is to acquire SHE Cosmetics – a Polish cosmetics company specialising in hand and foot care products.
Bielenda Kosmetyki Naturalne, established in 1990, is a major player in the cosmetics market in Poland. In January 2021, the company expanded its portfolio by adding Soraya and Dermika brands, which it acquired with the support of Innova Capital. In addition to Bielenda and Bielenda Professional brands, the group’s portfolio also includes BodyBoom, FaceBoom, and BabyBoom.
Diversis Capital Management, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm focused on investing in software and technology-enabled services organisations, has made a significant growth investment in SalesRabbit, a specialist in field sales software.

Software investment firm Thoma Bravo is to acquire Bottomline Technologies (Nasdaq: EPAY), a provider of business payments financial technology in an all-cash transaction that values the company at approximately USD2.6 billion.
Voi Technology – a European specialist in micromobility – has raised USD115 million in an oversubscribed financing round led by Raine Group and VNV Global.
Existing investors including Inbox Capital, Nordic Ninja, Stena Sessan, Kreos Capital also participated along with new investors Ilmarinen, Nineyards Equity and ICT Capital and others. Leading entrepreneurs and operators from King, Avito, BCG and more also participated in the fundraising round.

An affiliate of Waypoint Capital (Waypoint) has acquired a 70 per cent stake in Allergy Partners (Allergy Partners), a US group of single-specialty allergy and asthma practices.
Allergy Partners will continue to be led by current Chief Executive Officer, David Brown. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Estancia Capital Partners is to make a significant investment in R&T Deposit Networks, an administrator of reciprocal deposit networks for banks and insured cash sweep programs for broker-dealers and other financial institutions.
The investment, which is expected to close on 31 December, 2021, is intended to accelerate R&T’s continued expansion within the fast-growing and dynamic cash management market.
