Axereal Group, has raised EUR150 million to finance its growth projects including the development of the firm’s malting and food processing businesses. To raise these funds, two financial investors, Temasek and Unigrains, and minority shareholder Tereos subscribed to a capital increase of the group’s malting subsidiary.   This growth primarily concerns the Group’s malting business unit. Axereal subsidiary Boortmalt’s strategy is to support its brewer and distiller customers as they grow, by increasing its production capacities, boosting volumes exported from Antwerp and becoming directly involved in producing barley and malts in fast-growing geographies such as Africa and Asia.   “The

Nordea and AlpInvest have launched a new co-investment fund programme starting with a new EUR200 million fund – NPE Direct. It is anticipated that the size of the programme may expand to up to EUR400 million. The fund will source co-investment deals from both the Nordea and AlpInvest private equity platforms. Unigestion has successfully completed the final close of Unigestion Direct Opportunities 2015 (UDO 2015). The fund closed at EUR255 million, comfortably in excess of its original EUR200 million target. Independent investment bank Zeus Capital has supported two major IPOs in consecutive days on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM). Global Yachting Group (GYG) was admitted to the market this morning, with asset management firm Tatton Asset Management scheduled to join AIM tomorrow. The Local Pensions Partnership (LPP) has launched a new Global Infrastructure Fund which is expected to have total committed capital in excess of GBP1.5 billion following its final close in September 2017. Boyd Group Income Fund has, through a subsidiary company, closed the acquisition of the assets and business of Assured Automotive Inc. and related entities which was previously announced on 29 May, 2017. The total consideration for the transaction is approximately USD193.6 million, subject to closing and post-closing adjustments, and was funded through USD146.1 million in cash and USD47.5 million in Boyd Group Income Fund units priced at USD88.31 per unit. The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and China Development Bank (CDB) are to set up the China-Russia RMB Investment Cooperation Fund. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by the executives of the RDIF and CDB during the Russia-China negotiations in Moscow. It was attended by Vladimir Putin, the leader of the Russian Federation, and Xi Jinping, the leader of the People’s Republic of China.   China-Russia RMB Investment Cooperation Fund is expected to facilitate the establishment of a simplified framework for direct investments with settlements in national currencies.
