An affiliate of private equity firm New Water Capital Partners has acquired Denver-based Custom Made Meals, a manufacturer of fresh, oven-ready, value-added meals sold in more than 6,000 retail grocery locations nationwide.
As part of the transaction, New Water acquired Custom Corned Beef, a manufacturer of raw and cooked corned beef, roasts and deli meats.
The transaction allows majority owners, the Jewsbury family, who founded Custom Corned Beef in 1977, to exit the business. The Jewsbury family and John Birdsall, currently president of Custom Made Meals, acquired Custom Made Meals in 2009 from Maverick Ranch. Birdsall, who operated Custom Made
Public Pension Capital (PPC) and FiveW Capital, together with existing management, have acquired Viteos Fund Services, a provider of middle‐ and back‐office technology and services for the investment management industry.
The transaction brings together a group of financial and strategic investors experienced in building and growing technology and service providers.
The Viteos management team will continue to lead the company.

Affiliates of CCMP Capital are to acquire a controlling interest in Truck Hero, a provider of aftermarket accessories for pickup trucks and Jeeps.
TA Associates, the current holders of a majority interest in Truck Hero, as well as Truck Hero’s founding chief executive officer Bill Reminder and chief operating officer Kelly Kneifl, will remain significant investors in the company as part of the transaction.
Reminder and Kneifl will retain their current leadership positions.

Israel Secondary Fund (ISF) has completed the closing of ISF II, a USD100 million secondary fund.
The investors in ISF II include Israeli and global institutional investors, family offices, and high net worth investors.
Institutional investors in the fund include Halman Aldubi, Altshuler Shaham, Bank Hapoalim, IBI and Union Bank of Israel.
ISF II has already completed four investments from the new fund.
ISF is a secondary fund focused on the Israeli market, which provides liquidity to the private equity and venture capital market through purchasing interests in funds and direct holdings in private companies.

Morrison & Forrester (MoFo) is advising Syneron Medical on its USD397 million acquisition by British private equity firm Apax Partners.
Syneron is a public company that develops and markets aesthetic medical products including devices for hair removal, wrinkle treatment, and skin rejuvenation.
The MoFo team is led by Jackie Liu, co-chair of the firm’s global corporate department, and also includes partners Patrick Huard and Jonathan Gowdy; of counsel Ali Nardali and Joy MacIntyre; and associates Andy Campbell, Nan Ho, and Katherine Shaia.
MoFo worked in conjunction with Israel law firm Gross, Kleinhendler, Hodak, Halevy, Greenberg & Co.
Altus Capital Partners, an investment firm focused on the North American manufacturing sector, has sold PRISM Plastics, a Michigan-based manufacturer of high-precision plastics, to a subsidiary of Marmon Engineered Components.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Altus acquired PRISM in June 2014 alongside the company’s founders to support the company’s growth and expansion efforts in the high-precision plastics market.
During Altus’ ownership period, PRISM completed a variety of organic growth initiatives as well as the June 2016 acquisition of Tech Molded Plastics, a Pennsylvania-based precision plastics company. The acquisition doubled PRISM’s size and added in-house mould building
CVC Capital Partners’ (CVC) Strategic Opportunities Platform has agreed to acquire a 25 per cent stake in CLH, a Spanish oil transportation and storage company.
CVC’s Strategic Opportunities Platform will acquire this stake from Ardian (10 per cent), as well as Kutxabank (5 per cent), Abanca (5 per cent) and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCO) on behalf of certain of its clients (5 per cent).
