Siris Capital Group’s affiliates have submitted a unilaterally binding offer to acquire all outstanding shares of Polycom for a price of USD12.50 per share in cash. The offer is subject to Polycom terminating its existing merger agreement with Mitel Networks.   Polycom has informed Siris that its board of directors has unanimously determined Siris’ offer to constitute a “Company Superior Proposal” under the terms of its merger agreement with Mitel. HIG Bayside Capital, a credit affiliate of HIG Capital, has held the first close of IDeA CCR (Corporate Credit Recovery) I Fund, an investment platform managed by IDeA Capital Funds SGR (IDeA), at EUR260 million. Italian fund 21 Investimenti III is to acquire Philippe Model, a high-end fashionable leisure shoe brand based in the heart of the Riviera del Brenta Italian footwear district and distributed worldwide by top luxury wholesalers. Founded in 2008 by the Italian designer Paolo Gambato, the company reached sales of over EUR30 million in 2015. Sofiprotéol and Tikehau Investment Management have launched a private debt fund called Sofiprotéol Dette Privée, which will finance the development of agro-food and agro-industrial companies of all sizes through bullet loans or leveraged acquisition financing. This financing vehicle will be an addition to those already initiated by Sofiprotéol.   As part of the partnership, Tikehau IM will be able to call on Sofiprotéol’s extensive sector expertise. Less than a year after the creation of its buy-and-build platform, Alliance Etiquettes has acquired Imprimerie D3, its fourth build-up acquisition. Founded in 1987, Imprimerie D3 is located in Cépie, in the Languedoc-Roussillon Midi-Pyrénées region, in the department of Aude.   Led by Anthony Gleize, the company has 16 professionals.   Imprimerie D3 joins the Alliance Etiquettes Group, chaired by Olivier Laulan and hitherto composed of Groupe Laulan, Groupe Enes and Maumy Impression.   Laulan says: "We are delighted to welcome the Imprimerie D3 team to the Alliance Etiquettes Group thereby strengthening our presence in this important French wine region.
