Noerr is advising SAF-Holland on its takeover bid for the listed Swedish Haldex Group. The Noerr team is led by the Frankfurt partners Dr Holger Alfes and Dr Stephan Schulz.   Haldex is a provider of brake systems and air suspension modules for commercial vehicles. Clearwater International has advised MCH Private Equity, one of Spain’s largest independent private equity houses, on the acquisition of a shareholding in Grupo Brasmar, a Portuguese frozen seafood company. Brasmar is a fast-growing company based in Portugal, with a significant presence in Italy, Brazil and Spain. Catterton (formerly known as L Capital), and including 21Investimenti, Ergon Capital, Wise and NB Renaissance, is to sell its investment in Stroili, an Italian affordable jewellery brand. Aurelius Group has acquired The Hospital Group, a provider of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures based in Birmingham, UK. With approximately 300 employees, The Hospital Group generated revenues of GBP30.4 million in 2015. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.   The Hospital Group is a provider of cosmetic procedures in the UK, as well as a market leader in weight loss treatments. The company operates the largest cosmetic surgery hospital in Europe together with 15 clinics across the UK. DCM Ventures, an early stage global venture capital firm, has held the close of its eighth flagship fund, DCM VIII, with USD500 million in committed capital to be invested in early stage companies across the US, China and Japan. Wozair Ltd has purchased 100 per cent of Jet Environmental Systems Ltd and Jet AHU Ltd shares.   Wozair is a privately owned international HVAC equipment manufacturer with a turnover of GBP39 million in 2015. Private equity fund manager and enterprise investment scheme (EIS) specialist Calculus Capital has made a GBP2.5 million investment in diagnostics company Epistem via its EIS fund and venture capital trust (VCT) investment vehicles. Calculus is the cornerstone investor in a GBP6.5 million equity fundraising undertaken by Epistem.   Epistem, an AIM-listed molecular diagnostics and biotechnology company, will use the investment to fund its next stage of growth, which includes developing low-cost, rapid and simple to use tests for diagnosing infectious diseases such as tuberculosis (TB), Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B and HIV via its Genedrive platform.   Epistem, which will be
Private equity firms Maven Capital Partners and YFM Equity Partners have backed the MBO of Indigo Telecom Group, acquiring the business from parent TTG-Global. Maven and YFM have invested in partnership to provide a GBP12 million funding package, including additional funds to support a buy and build strategy to scale and diversify the Indigo group.   South Wales based Indigo designs, installs and maintains telecom networks across the UK and Europe, enabling customers such as Vodafone, Sky and BT to deliver fixed line, broadband, mobile and other data services to a wide variety of corporate, enterprise and consumer end users.
Marlin Equity Partners has held the first and final closing of Marlin Heritage Europe with EUR325 million of total capital commitments.  The Heritage Europe Fund was exclusively offered to existing investors in Marlin's lower middle market focused Heritage Fund platform and closed at its hard cap in just over two months while generating demand well in excess of its initial EUR200 million target.   The Heritage Europe Fund is a natural progression for Marlin following the firm's long history of investing in European businesses since 2006 and the establishment of a local European presence in January 2013, with the opening
