DVN (Holdings) Limited’s wholly owned subsidiary, Frontier Services Limited, is to acquire Phoenix Aviation, a company incorporated in Kenya, for a total consideration of USD14m . This landmark transaction for DVN was the subject of a formal Stock Exchange of Hong Kong announcement yesterday. Funds advised by Triton are to acquire the auxiliary components business of Alstom’s Thermal Power division for an enterprise value of around EUR730m. The transaction was approved by the board of directors of Alstom on 31 March. Accel-KKR has completed fundraising for Accel-KKR Structured Capital Partners II with USD325m in committed capital, exceeding its target.  The new fund continues the predecessor fund's focus on making minority equity investments in growing technology companies via senior equity and other structured securities.    Accel-KKR raised its first Structured Capital Fund, with USD180m in capital commitments, in 2011.    The firm is also investing out of its fourth buyout fund, Accel-KKR Capital Partners IV, a fund with over USD800m in capital commitments that was raised in 2012.   Accel-KKR, founded in 2000, invests in middle market software and technology enabled service

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) has partnered with management to complete the acquisition of Nobles Worldwide. Based in St Croix Falls, Wisconsin, and founded in 1948, Nobles is a provider of flex chutes that are used in a variety of air, naval and ground military applications.   Nobles is the largest supplier in its industry to the US military and its allies across the globe. KKR is supporting the development of European Locomotive Leasing (ELL) a provider of full-service locomotive leasing solutions to freight and passenger operators throughout continental Europe. ELL is led by a team of rail professionals based in Austria and Germany.   The company has signed a framework contract for the order of as many as 50 state-of-the-art Siemens Vectron locomotives. The first locomotives are bindingly ordered today and will be delivered immediately. Koji Drinks, a sparkling soft drinks brand, has completed a follow-on funding round of GBP150,000 from the Angel CoFund. Venture capital fund manager Mercia Fund Management (MFM) has added an online logistics platform Dealer Management Portal (DMPortal) to its portfolio of technology investments.
