Arcmont Asset Management (Arcmont), a European private debt asset management firm, has completed fundraising for its Senior Loan Fund II and associated vehicles, attracting total investable capital of EUR5 billion.
The EUR5 billion raised exceeded Arcmont’s initial target, with the success of the fundraise reflecting the strong support received from both new and existing investors globally, including public and private pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds and family offices. More than half of the commitments were from investors in Arcmont’s prior funds, with strong participation from Europe, the United States and Asia Pacific.

Align Capital Partners (ACP) has closed its sixth strategic add-on for its utility market intelligence, data science and consulting platform, E Source. Water Systems Optimisation (WSO) offers water loss reduction analytics, leak simulation models, consulting and program management services to utilities and municipalities throughout the United States.
Headquartered in Nashville, TN, WSO partners with national, state and local water agencies to reduce water loss and optimise much needed investments. The WSO team is comprised of experts in water loss research, analysis, strategy, related field work and capital investments to address losses. WSO will become part of E Source’s Technology Planning
Afterparty, a technology company behind the new Web3 platform enabling creators to directly monetise and manage NFT collector relationships, has raised USD3 million in seed funding.
The round is led by Acrew Capital and TenOneTen Ventures with participation from Palm Tree Crew, Act One Ventures, Hex Capital, Red Light Management, and angel investors including Dylan & Brandon Lee, Louis Beryl, Dave Bonanno, Craig Clemens, Reade Seiff and Alex Kassan.
The funding will be used to accelerate product development of Afterparty’s end-to-end Creator NFT platform, which provides creators with the tools to launch NFTs and gain direct artistic and financial control
Parts Town, a distributor of OEM foodservice equipment parts, has secured a significant investment from Los Angeles-based growth investment firm Leonard Green & Partners.
Existing investor Berkshire Partners (Berkshire) will retain its majority stake in the company, reinvesting alongside the Parts Town management team and Leonard Green.
These investments will enable Parts Town to accelerate innovation across its supply chain, distribution and ecommerce operations while further investing in its team to drive sustained high growth. UK Landscapes, a family business which founded in 1997, now employs over 175 staff at its headquarters in Middlewich, Cheshire and regional depots throughout the UK including Leeds, Glasgow, Cardiff, Reading and Harlow. The company serves blue-chip customers such as Asda, John Lewis, Waitrose, Shell, and Santander. The funding will enable it to step up its organic growth and pursue a ‘buy and build’ strategy in the sector.

Browne Jacobson’s private equity team has advised independent private equity and infrastructure investment manager Foresight Group (Foresight) on its exit from e-commerce fulfilment specialist, Selazar Limited (Selazar), generating a 3.4x return for the Midland Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) managed by Foresight after less than two years.
The Browne Jacobson team was led by Midlands-based associate Matt Bolton, who also advised Foresight on MEIF’s initial and follow-on investments in Selazar in 2019 and 2020 (respectively), supported by Birmingham-based private equity partner, Gareth Davies.
The exit is the first for MEIF, which was launched by the UK Government-owned British Business Bank (BBB)
