Sofinnova Partners, a European life sciences venture capital firm based in Paris, London and Milan, has appointed Geraldine Usseglio as Head of Human Resources.
The creation of this position reinforces the ongoing expansion of the firm’s teams and the diversification of its investment strategies across sector, stage and geography.
Usseglio will be responsible for strengthening the firm’s human resources strategy, supporting the development of its global team to empower individuals to reach their full potential, while maximising the performance of the firm. She will report to Monique Saulnier, Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer.

RoadSafe Traffic Systems (RoadSafe), a US provider of traffic control and pavement marking services, has acquired Barricade Services & Sales (BSSI), a supplier of traffic control products and services in the Salt Lake City market.
The acquisition of BSSI further establishes RoadSafe’s position in the Mountain West region and expansion into the Utah market, one of the fastest-growing markets for traffic management in the US. The Riverside Company has invested in Done Service Group (Done), which provides residential plumbing services, HVAC installation and repair services and excavation and sewer line services in the Denver metropolitan area.
This is an add-on investment to Riverside’s platform, Radiant Plumbing and Air Conditioning, a provider of maintenance plumbing, sewer and HVAC services.

Healthcare entrepreneur Kush Das will join Ennoble Care as Chairman & CEO, and Ennoble Care founders Daniel and Avi Stokar will remain involved in key executive roles. Peterson’s investment will fund the expansion of Ennoble providers into new markets and increase its penetration in existing markets to meet the growing demand for palliative and home-based care, with a focus on value-based and patient-first care.

Filipino social entertainment platform Kumu has raised a Series C led by General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm with more than 40 years of experience scaling disruptive businesses internationally. Existing investors Openspace and SIG also participated.
This transaction marks the largest equity financing to date for a Filipino startup not founded as a subsidiary or spinoff of an established conglomerate and brings total funding to date for the company to USD100 million. It also marks General Atlantic’s first investment in the Philippines.
