London-based investment firm RDCP Group (RDCP) has acquired one of the UK’s largest tech BPOs, Intelling, from NVM Private Equity (NVM). RDCP has acquired a 67.4 per cent stake in Manchester-based Intelling. NVM first backed Intelling in 2017 when the company was delivering business process outsourcing (BPO) and communications services to a range of clients, including a major contract with O2.   As a result of both investment and additional Board support, the company has been transformed into a GBP40 million turnover, tech-enabled business employing more than 1000 staff at multiple sites, both in the UK and overseas. Foresight Group Holdings Limited, a listed infrastructure and private equity investment manager, has made a joint venture investment into geothermal energy in the Netherlands. Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners (FEIP), Foresight’s energy transition fund, has invested in a joint venture with 85 Degrees Renewable Ltd (85 Degrees).   Located in the Netherlands, the joint venture investment entails both the acquisition of operational wells and construction of new wells. Managed by Maven Capital Partners (Maven) and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, has exited Intec Business Solutions (inTEC); a group offering end-to-end technology consultancy and specialist support services for SMEs. Manchester-based inTEC has now entered into a royalty financing agreement with AIM-listed provider of royalty finance Duke Royalty, who provided GBP7.7 million to facilitate a refinancing of the Group’s debt and equity. EIG, an institutional investor to the global energy and infrastructure sectors, is to acquire a 10 per cent interest in Australia Pacific LNG Pty Limited (APLNG) from Origin Energy Limited (Origin) for an equity purchase price of USD1.592 billion.
