Global investment firm The Carlyle Group’s (NASDAQ: CG) Global Credit platform has agreed to provide a debt financing package of EUR400 million for Infront Group (Infront), a sports marketing company based in Switzerland.
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Zug, Infront is one of the world’s largest sports marketing companies, offering a broad range of services including Media Rights, Sponsorship Rights, Media Production and Digital Solutions. Infront intends to use the funds to refinance its existing debt and to support its expansion plans.

This acquisition expands Grant & Stone’s specialist electrical division, complementing the recent acquisitions of builders’ and plumbers’ merchants in the South West of England.

Procuritas Capital Investors VI (Procuritas) portfolio company DSI Freezing Solutions A/S (DSI), the Denmark-based market leader in plate freezing technology, has acquired Cryogenic Equipment and Services NV (CES) and signed a contract to acquire Dantech Freezing Systems A/S (Dantech).
These acquisitions transform DSI into a new global player with the industry’s widest product range within industrial freezing, cooling, and heat treatment of food.

Oakley Capital’s Oakley Capital IV (Fund IV) is to invest in ICP Education Holding Limited (ICP Education), an independent group of UK nurseries.
Fund IV will invest alongside the management team, which is led by Executive Chairman Stephen Booty, CEO Dominic Harrison, and CFO Clare Wilson.
ICP Education is one of the largest nursery operators in the UK, serving nearly 6,000 children at 44 nurseries across England, predominantly in London and the South East. Heritas Capital (Heritas) has held the first close of its third private equity fund, Heritas Growth Fund III (Fund III), at USD60 million.

Eurazeo is to sell its stake in integrated payments leader, Planet. As part of the transaction Eurazeo will reinvest and co-control the Company with Advent International (Advent).
Under this agreement, Planet is valued at EUR1.8 billion. With this operation, Eurazeo and its affiliates show a total valuation of 2.5x their original investment and approximately 19 per cent IRR.

Nexif Energy, an Australian and South East Asian power company, backed by Denham Capital has formed a 50:50 partnership with RATCH Group for construction and operation of its Nexif Energy Ben Tre wind power generation project (NEBT) in Vietnam.
This is the second project Nexif Energy is undertaking with RATCH Group after forging a successful partnership last year on the Rayong Co-Generation project in Thailand.
The 80 MW near-shore wind power generation project is located in Thanh Hai commune, Thanh Phu district of Ben Tre Province, about 160 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Clir Renewables (Clir), a company dedicated to maximising project returns from renewable energy assets, has closed its CAD27 million Series B funding round, which was co-led by Longbow Capital Inc and ArcTern Ventures, and included Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), BDC Capital, Active Impact Investments and Tokio Marine HCC.
Since the business was founded in 2017, Clir has provided critical technology to support owners of renewable energy assets in 11 countries via its AI-driven monitoring and optimisation platform.
