International web hosting business, Miss Group, has acquired Finnish-based Seravo Oy as part of its global buy and build strategy.
Established in 2011, Seravo offers premium hosting services and upkeep for over 4,000 WordPress sites. Seravo has reported steady double-digit revenue growth over recent years, with revenues in the financial year to December 2020 of EUR1.5 million forecast to increase to EUR1.9 million in FY21.
This is the third acquisition that Miss Group has completed in the Finnish market following the acquisitions of MMD Networks earlier this month and Euronic in April 2020 and will support the Group’s continued

Modern Times Group MTG (MTG) has acquired New Zealand-based tower defence mobile games developer and publisher Ninja Kiwi Ltd (Ninja Kiwi).
The acquisition of Ninja Kiwi marks an important additional step in the journey to reach further organic and acquisitive growth for MTG and is in line with the company’s overall strategy to further build a diversified gaming segment, and stronger GamingCo. The up-front consideration amounts to approximately SEK1,217 million (NZD203 million) and earn-out payments at an expected value of SEK406 million (NZD68 million) in aggregate, including cash and share components.

Fundraising for disruptive, low cost telecoms provider Boom has been oversubscribed by 45 per cent, reaching GBP3.2 million and surpassing its original goal of GBP2.2 million through Growthdeck, a private equity investment firm.
The Boom platform allows businesses to operate with staff using mobile phones or PC software instead of desk phones and redirect incoming business calls to other colleagues, no matter where they are located.
