Mezzanine Management has sold its significant minority stake in MBL Group, a European manufacturer of medical mobility devices it has backed for nearly four years, in a sale to INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund.  This is the seventh successful exit for Mezzanine Management’s AMC Funds in the last 12 months. Law firm RPC has supported a significant insurance transaction advising long duration insurance investor Beat Capital Partners in its strategic partnership with Bain Capital Credit, a global credit specialist.The deal was announced on 1 September and will close once regulatory approvals have been obtained. It will create a dedicated underwriting vehicle, funded by Bain Capital Credit, which will provide capital through Syndicate 4242 to support Beat’s underwriting businesses operating in the Lloyd’s market. I Squared Capital has completed the sale of Etenorte and Eteselva to Interconexión Eléctrica – ISA Peru for a USD158.5 million total cash consideration. Etenorte and Eteselva are regulated assets with over 740 kilometres of power transmission lines in Peru and were wholly owned subsidiaries of Inkia Energy, a portfolio company of I Squared Capital’s power generation and distribution facilities in nine countries across Latin America.
