ThinCats, an alternative lender to mid-sized SMEs has provided a total of GBP5.9 million in funding facilities for two businesses backed by NVM Private Equity.

Align Capital Partners (ACP) has closed its second private equity investment fund, Align Capital Partners Fund II, LP and Align Capital Partners Fund II-A, LP (ACP II) at its hard cap of USD450 million.

Austin-based Eventus Systems, a global trade surveillance and market risk software platform provider, has just raised USD10.5 million of growth capital in a Series A investment round.  Investors included a range of venture capital and financial services organisations, led by Chicago-based Jump Capital and Austin-based LiveOak Venture Partners.   The funds will enable Eventus to further enhance its technology, significantly increase its sales, development and service staff globally and continue to grow its customer base.
