Los Angeles-based private equity firm Vance Street Capital has recapitalised Eirtech Aviation Services (EAS), a provider of specialist aviation services for the largest airlines and aircraft leasing companies globally. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Shannon, Ireland with offices in Dublin and Singapore, EAS provides design-engineering, manufacturing and product solutions, as well as asset management and CAMO services, that ensure regulatory compliance with FAA, EASA and other local jurisdiction mandates. Itarle, a provider of high-performance best execution services to banks, has created Itarle Ventures, a new Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to co-invest with partners in new data analysis and liquidity services, and shared market infrastructure initiatives.
Through Itarle Ventures, the company can leverage its existing IP and commercial network to help build promising fintech companies and further develop existing venues, while identifying new investment opportunities that are not a natural fit for Itarle AG.

PHD Equity Partners (PHD) has invested in Auto Marine Cables (AMC), a family-run supplier of low-voltage cables to the automotive and marine industries, to drive its growth.
The company has a turnover of GBP14 million, which allows it to deliver on orders within short lead times, and offers cables ranging from under five metres to over six kilometres in length. The funding will allow AMC to boost its growth by expanding its product range, export trade and enable current owners, Peter and Diane Hammond to realise part of their investment in the business.
Peter Hammond, who has led the
HIG Capital (HIG), a global private equity investment firm with over EUR31 billion of equity capital under management, has signed agreements to acquire Meyra Group SA (Meyra) and Alu Rehab AS (Alu Rehab).
HIG intends to combine the two companies to form a large-scale mobility equipment manufacturer in Europe. The transaction is subject to clearing by the relevant antitrust authorities with closing anticipated by end of 2019.

Prestige Funds, a specialist private debt fund manager, has loaned over GBP 100 million in secured finance to biogas and anaerobic digestion projects in the UK over the last nine months.
The financing is managed through Privilege Finance, part of the same group of companies and a specialist in lending to businesses in the UK’s agricultural sector.
With the growth in this activity, Prestige has also relocated Privilege Finance to new offices north of Cambridge. This reflects the growing headcount with more than 30 additional personnel, and the scope of the group’s agri-lending activities.

Real estate technology company Blueground has closed a USD50 million (GBP40 million) Series B round and expanded of its global footprint by launching in London.
The round was co-led by two prominent investment firms: Prime Ventures and WestCap Investment Partners. WestCap’s founding partner, Laurence Tosi, is an experienced investor and operator, who served as the long-time CFO of private equity firm Blackstone, and subsequently, as the CFO of Airbnb, the leading home-sharing marketplace.
