Process Mining software provider Minit has raised EUR7 million in a Series A funding round, led by Target Global, with participation from Salesforce Ventures and existing investors, Earlybird’s Digital East Fund and OTB Ventures.

Funds advised by YFM Equity Partners (YFM) have backed a GBP4.5 million investment into SharpCloud Software Limited (SharpCloud) to support the continued growth and roll out of its enterprise SaaS product.
YFM’s investment comes from its two advised VCTs, British Smaller Companies VCT plc and British Smaller Companies VCT2 plc, alongside YFM Equity Partners Growth II LP.

Provate equity firm Permira has held a final closing for its latest buy-out fund Permira VII (P7), at its hard cap with total commitments of EUR11 billion.
P7 will follow Permira’s long-term strategy of investing in market-leading businesses that benefit from strong and resilient underlying growth drivers. The Fund will continue to deploy across Permira’s key sectors: technology, consumer, financial services, health care, industrial tech and services.
The Fund was strongly supported by existing investors. In addition, a substantial number of new relationships across multiple geographies made commitments to P7.

Specialist alternative asset manager, Gresham House plc (Gresham House), has held the interim close of its British Strategic Investment Fund (BSIF) taking total commitments to GBP200 million.
The final close is expected in the first quarter of 2020.
Greater Manchester Pension Fund and Greater London Authority have made new commitments totally GBP35 million. Additionally, Greater Manchester Pension Fund has committed a further GBP20 million to a North-West co-investment portfolio. Aruwa Capital Management (Aruwa), a female founded and led private equity firm focused on Nigeria and Ghana, has launched a USD20 million co-investment vehicle. Aruwa‘s mission is to provide patient growth capital to established and rapidly growing companies in the small to lower middle market and it expects to execute four to five investments, averaging US USD1-5 million, over the next 24 months.
To date, capital has been raised from international and West African based family offices and high-net-worth individuals. The vehicle is domiciled in Mauritius and management have committed capital demonstrating an alignment of interest with co-investors.

ARX Equity Partners (ARX), a private equity firm with a 20-year track record supporting the growth and development of mid-sized companies in Central Europe, has completed the majority acquisition of TES Vsetin (TES).
Headquartered in Vsetin, Czech Republic, TES is an engineering company active primarily in the manufacturing of system components relating to electrical machines, in addition to both the design and manufacturing of its own proprietary machines, such as generators and electric motors.

Maven Capital Partners (Maven), has led a GBP4 million investment in language understanding business, Relative Insight (RI).
The transaction comprises a GBP3 million package from Maven’s VCTs alongside GBP1 million from NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund. The funding will support the company’s growth strategy as it expands into the USA and develops its technology platform to help companies drive business value from language data.

Acino and Takeda Pharmaceuticals have signed an agreement for Acino to acquire parts of Takeda’s primary care portfolio in selected countries in the Middle East and Africa, and in Ukraine. The acquisition will further strengthen Acino’s position in these important regions.
Acino, a Nordic Capital-backed company, will acquire approximately 30 products from Takeda’s primary care portfolio in selected countries in the Middle East and Africa, and in Ukraine from Takeda, subject to conditions.

iLOQ’s main shareholders have signed a contract for the sale of the firm to a company that is majority owned by Nordic Capital Fund IX for around EUR190 million. The final amount of the purchase price will be specified at the time of the completion of the transaction.
The transaction, which is subject to the approval of the necessary competition authorities, is expected to close in 2019.

An affiliate of alternative investment specialist Cerberus Capital Management is to acquire the North American, Costa Rican, and Japanese businesses and related facilities of Closure Systems International, a specialist inclosure design, manufacturing, and high-speed application systems, from Reynolds Group Holdings Limited (Reynolds Group).
Reynolds Group will retain and continue to operate closures businesses in Europe, the Middle East, Egypt, and South America.
The acquired businesses of Closure Systems International (CSI) provide closures for a wide variety of bottles and containers and is the largest producer of closures in North America. In 2018, CSI sold over 56 billion closure systems
