The Minnesota State Board of Investment has approved an additional allocation of more than USD2.6 billion to global private markets investments, according to a torpor by AlternatvesWatch.
The USD136 billion board already has a USD18.6 billion private markets portfolio including private equity, private credit, real estate and real assets investments with over 100 managers
An additional 21 fund commitments across private equity and private credit asset classes have now been made, with 18 private equity funds selected to manage a combined USD2.2 billion, including Clearlake Capital Partners VII (USD100 million); Siris Partners V (USD100 million); Advent International GPE X (USD150 million); Blackstone Capital Partners IX (USD150 million); and Blackstone Growth II (USD150 million).
Additional funds have also been allocated to existing private credit managers VÓ“rde Partners (USD100 million); HPS (USD100 million); and Oaktree (USD200 million).
