Eleven Ventures, a Bulgarian venture capital firm focused on pre-seed and seed investing in South Eastern Europe (SEE), has held the final closing of ‘Eleven Fund III’ at EUR60 million. Private equity firm Montagu has completed its investment in Waystone, a provider of institutional governance, risk, and compliance services to the asset management industry, while Hg, a global software and services investor, is also joining as a strategic investor and joint shareholder in the firm. Montagu first announced its investment in Waystone in July 2021. Hg’s investment is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. Sustainable growth equity fund Revaia has promoted Morgan Kessous as Partner. Kessous joined Revaia in 2018 and has since played a key role in the fund’s growth, both in terms of investment strategy, sourcing and monitoring of portfolio companies, as well as in recruiting new team members in Paris and Berlin. Kessous had previously joined Revaia’s Executive Committee, made up of the fund’s co-founders, Alice Albizzati and Elina Berrebi, and COO Bettina Denis.

According to the first estimates obtained by the Spanish Association of Capital, Growth and Investment (ASCRI) through the European platform EDC, the volume of private capital investment in Spain during 2021 reached EUR7.49 billion from a total of 841 investments. Napier Park Global Capital (Napier Park) and Ethical Power Group (Ethical Power) have formed a joint venture, Lynher Energy, to invest in large-scale solar and battery storage assets in the UK and Europe. Ethical Power will act as servicer to the joint venture, including the provision of services relating to development, construction, operations and maintenance, and asset management. Pegasus Asia, Tikehau Capital’s third sponsored SPAC globally and its first to be listed in Singapore has successfully raised SGD170 million (cEUR111.2 million) in its initial public offering. Similar to Pegasus Europe and Pegasus Entrepreneurs launched in 2021, Pegasus Asia was launched by Tikehau Capital alongside co-sponsors Financière Agache, Jean-Pierre Mustier and Diego De Giorgi.
