New Mountain Capital has closed its latest direct lending fund, New Mountain Guardian III with approximately USD1.15 billion of capital commitments from a diverse group of investors.  Commitments included a substantial investment from the General Partner and employees of the Firm. The Fund is expected to have approximately USD2.0 billion in investable capital, including leverage. Technology expert Vahan Vardanian has inked an agreement to assist emerging markets private equity firm Da Vinci Capital with developing the firm’s pipeline of portfolio companies in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), primarily Armenia and Georgia. Seraphim Space, the manager of Seraphim Space Investment Trust plc (LSE: SSIT), the world’s first listed Space Tech Fund, has appointed the former Investment Director of Virgin Management, Andre Ronsoehr, to help develop and build out the space investment portfolio. Primer has closed a Series B funding round that values the payments infrastructure startup at USD425 million only 20 months after being founded. The USD50 million Series B fundraise was led by ICONIQ Growth, a San Francisco based investment firm that has backed global tech companies such as Adyen and Marqeta to Snowflake and Datadog. Orgnostic, a people analytics platform helping fast-growing companies to democratise people analytics, has raised USD5 million in funding. The seed round was led by Earlybird Digital East, and includes participation from a roster of impressive investors, including Script Capital and angel investors including Eric Ries and Tiho Bajic of Lean Startup and LTSE, Rony Kahan of Indeed, and Charlie Songhurst of Microsoft.
