Causeway, a provider of enterprise and cloud software solutions to the construction and infrastructure maintenance industries, has secured a GBP120 million investment to fund strategic acquisitions and accelerate its organic growth strategy to digitally connect the construction supply chain through further development of its cloud platform.
This investment follows a period of strong and consistent growth at Causeway, resulting in an earnings compound annual growth rate of 31 per cent since 2015, driven by increased industry adoption of digital solutions and acquisitions that have broadened its product portfolio.

Exeter Finance LLC, an indirect auto finance company, has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an investor group led by Warburg Pincus from funds managed by Blackstone. Terms of the private transaction have not been disclosed.
Exeter is a rapidly growing tech-enabled indirect auto lender, with a managed loan portfolio of more than USD7 billion. The company underwrites, purchases, services and securitises retail installment contracts from more than 11,000 auto dealers and 475,000 customers nationwide. Exeter has leveraged its extensive automobile finance industry knowledge to deliver leading-edge technology and financial solutions to more than one million customers.
Taurus Private Markets, a Pennsylvania based private equity firm, has held the final close of Taurus Private Markets Fund, LP with USD112 million in capital commitments.
The fund secured capital commitments from a diversified investor base including public pension plans, Taft Hartley plans, and family offices.

CVC Capital Partners VIII has agreed to acquire a majority interest in Rayner, the global ophthalmology business from Phoenix Equity Partners, the UK growth-focused private equity firm, for an undisclosed amount.
Rayner is a manufacturer and developer of innovative intraocular lenses (IOLs) and associated pharmaceuticals. Turquoise, the UK merchant bank specialising in energy, environment and efficiency, has invested in Ablatus Therapeutics for the Low Carbon Innovation Fund 2 (LCIF2). The investment of GBP85,000 is part of an overall round which could reach GBP1.5 million.

Acrew Capital and Mubadala Capital have invested USD29.5 million in a Series A financing round for San Francisco-based health and wellness platform Paceline, which rewards its users for exercising with financial incentives.
The round was led by Acrew Capital, with participation from Mubadala Capital along with existing investors, and the firms will aim to guide the platform’s expansion and support scale amid growing consumer demand, according to the company.
