PwC UK has made changes to its Deals leadership team and strengthened the practice with the promotion of 18 new equity partners, effective 1 July 2021.
Hein Marais takes on leadership of Transaction Services and Nicola Preedy will head up Regional Deals. They join the firm’s Deals leadership team reporting to Ken Walsh, UK Head of Deals.
There are promotions to partner across each of the four business units – Business Restructuring Services, Corporate Finance, Forensic Services and Transactions Services.

Barings has served as lender on a senior secured facility to support Inflexion in its acquisition of ANS Group, a leading provider of digital transformation and cloud managed services. Financial terms have not been disclosed.

Nordic Capital has held the first and final close of its first Evolution Fund at just over EUR1.2 billion (including GP commitment of 6.8 million per cent). Launched in April 2021 and raised in only three months, the Fund was substantially oversubscribed at its hard cap and significantly exceeded its target.

Global professional services provider Suntera Global has been granted a licence to provide fund administration services in Jersey.
Awarded by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC), the new licence enables Suntera Global to support private equity, real estate, venture capital and other alternative fund managers with a full range of administration services from Jersey, from fund set-up and structuring, through to back-office reporting and accounting, and governance and oversight.
The new licence complements the Group’s existing fund administration capabilities through its highly experienced teams in the Cayman Islands, Bahamas and Isle of Man who support the needs of fund managers
SS&C Technologies Holdings has appointed Suresh Krishnamurthy to lead client solutions for SS&C GlobeOp Private Markets, SS&C’s private equity and real assets fund administration business.
He will report to Bhagesh Malde, global head of SS&C GlobeOp Private Markets.

Sandvik has signed an agreement with Battery Ventures to acquire US-based Cambrio, a company with an end-to-end portfolio in CAD/CAM software for manufacturing industries like automotive, transportation, energy, medical and aerospace.
