KPS Capital Partners (KPS) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Siderforgerossi Group, SpA (Siderforgerossi), a global manufacturer of large diameter forged products.  Upon completion of the transaction, Siderforgerossi will become the fifth acquisition completed by KPS Special Situations Mid-Cap Fund (the “Mid-Cap Fund”) and KPS’ second Mid-Cap Fund acquisition in Italy in 2021.     Siderforgerossi is a vertically integrated manufacturer of rolled and forged products with capabilities across the manufacturing spectrum, including ring-rolled, open die and closed die forging capabilities.  The Company is specialised in large diameter forged products and primarily serves the Wind Power, Oil & Gas,
Global alternative investment firm HIG Capital (HIG) has expanded its European WhiteHorse team with the addition of Sebastian Lorenz as Principal and Head of the DACH region. Lorenz has 11 years of experience in direct lending and corporate finance. He was previously a Director in the Private Finance division of Barings. Prior to that, he worked for Ares Management. Waterland Private Equity (Waterland) has opened a London office and hired of Oli Bevan as Managing Director as part of its strategy to deploy more capital and deepen its presence across the UK. The London office is Waterland’s 11th and follows the opening of the firm’s first UK office in the North West in early 2017. Terraformation, a global forest restoration company, has held the first closing of USD30 million in funding to support its mission to help solve climate change by restoring thriving ecosystems to capture carbon across billions of acres of degraded land.  The round was led by Sam & Max Altman at Apollo Projects, and included several high-profile institutional investors and nearly 100 angel investors, such as Sundeep Ahuja, Lachy Groom, Sahil Lavingia, Joe Lonsdale, Susan Wu, and OVN Cap.   The funding will be used to accelerate global forest restoration projects, support R&D, and expand hiring.    Terraformation combines world-leading forestry expertise
Shamrock Capital (Shamrock) has held the final closing of Shamrock Capital Growth Fund V, (SCGF V), a USD1 billion fund focused on buyout and later-stage growth equity investments within Shamrock’s core industries of media, entertainment, and communications.  Shamrock’s private equity funds target companies seeking USD25-200 million of equity capital in both control and non-control transactions.  SCGF V is managed by the Partners of Shamrock and other investment professionals in Los Angeles, California. Singapore-based fintech BondEvalue has raised USD6 million in its Series A round of fund raising, with MassMutual Ventures Southeast Asia and Citigroup among the new investors. VTB Capital has entered the growing Russian carsharing market, acquiring a USD75 million minority equity stake in Delimobil Holding , which controls the Russian entities owning the Delimobil, Anytime and Anytime.Prime brands.
