This round is the latest in a string of similar investments within the health tech space for Warburg Pincus. Global early-stage venture capital firm Antler has closed its first Nordic fund, which was oversubscribed at USD36 million. Participants include Draper Esprit, Kistefos, the Danish state fund Vækstfonden, and the Norwegian state fund Investinor.  The Antler Nordic fund will continue to invest in innovative startups in Sweden, Norway and Denmark, with strong and complementary co-founding teams, validated business models and global potential. BGF – the UK & Ireland’s most active investor – has promoted Andy Gregory, current Head of Investments, UK & Ireland, to Chief Investment Officer (CIO). Gregory has been with BGF since 2011, joining as regional director for the North of England. The management of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues is moving up the board agenda for private equity, however climate risk exposure requires greater scrutiny, according to a new survey released by PwC. Huma Therapeutics Limited has completed its latest funding round with financing of approximately USD130 million.
