Barkyn, a subscription service for pets that combines personalised healthy food with tele-vet services, has announced a further EUR3 million investment, extending its Series A to EUR8 million.
Barkyn had an impressive 2020 where it scaled fast to meet growing demand from dog owners. Due to its fast growth, FoodTech specialist Five Seasons Ventures has invested in Barkyn and will support its further expansion and future product development.

Private equity company Bluewater has sold px Group (px), having transformed the business during its five years of ownership to a market leader operating energy and energy transition assets throughout the UK.
Bluewater has overseen 27 per cent average annual growth, a near trebling of turnover, highly cash generative operations, and a seven-fold increase in EBITDA, from circa GBP2 million the year before acquisition to over GBP15 million in 2021.
