US banking app Dave has secured a USD100 million credit facility from global alternative investment firm Victory Park Capital (VPC). The funding will support the growth of Dave’s banking product and accelerate the company’s expansion into new products and features.
In 2020, Dave rolled out Dave Banking, a spending account and debit card with no monthly fees. SESAMm, a provider of analytics and artificial intelligence solutions for investment professionals and enterprises, has concluded a Series B funding round for over EUR7.5 million led by the Fintech VC fund of NewAlpha Asset Management and global investment firm The Carlyle Group.
The investment is intended to accelerate SESAMm’s global growth, allowing it to acquire talent and expand operations in Europe, Asia and North America. Plans for the funding also include developing AI-enabled research tools and dashboards for corporate customers, as well as continuing R&D investment in its Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing tools.

CybSafe, a behavioural security platform aimed at helping organisations manage human cyber risk, has closed a GBP5.6 million (USD7.9 million) Series A1 round, led by deep tech investors, IQ Capital with participation from Hannover Digital Investments (HDI Group) and B8 Ventures.
The investment comes as a result of the company’s continued momentum, its pioneering use of data and behavioural science and growth of the market opportunity.

Copley Equity Partners (Copley Equity), a private equity firm and family office headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts has completed a growth investment in AeroMed Group (AeroMed) to facilitate the company’s acquisition of etaGLOBAL.
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
AeroMed, based in Charlotte, NC, will utilise Copley’s investment to assist in the company’s strategy to build a market-leading supply chain solutions provider to the Aerospace and Defense industries. Private markets investment management firm Hamilton Lane is to acquire the business of 361 Capital (361 Capital), a Denver-based boutique alternative asset management firm.
The acquisition aims to expand Hamilton Lane’s presence and capabilities in the US private wealth channel. The 361 Capital team, led by Chairman and CEO Tom Florence and President Josh Vail, will remain in Denver, CO, growing Hamilton Lane’s footprint to 18 locations around the world.

The Apax Digital Fund (ADF), DTCP, and Summit Partners, have agreed to sell portfolio company Signavio, a specialist in the enterprise business process intelligence and process management space, to SAP.
The transaction is expected to close by Q2 2021, subject to approvals by antitrust authorities. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
