Macfarlanes has advised long-standing client Alcentra on the successful fundraising of its second European strategic credit fund which has closed at EUR557 millio.This capital will be used to continue Alcentra’s strategic credit strategy investing in stressed and distressed debt opportunities, with assets under management for its European strategic credit platform rising to over EUR1.5 billion.
