Alternative asset manager Black Diamond Capital Management (Black Diamond) has appointed Rodney S Cohen as Head of Private Equity.  Cohen will have responsibility for managing Black Diamond’s portfolio of private equity funds, consisting of the BDCM Opportunity Funds II, III, IV, and V, aggregating approximately USD4 billion in capital.   Commenting on the appointment, Stephen H. Activa Capital’s portfolio company Alliance Etiquettes, a French company producing label printing for the wine & spirits industry, is acquiring 5 Sept Etiquette as part of its consolidation strategy. With the closing of this deal Alliance Etiquettes completes its eighth external growth operation since 2015, bringing its turnover above EUR65 million.
