415 CAPITAL Management (415 CAPITAL) has held a first closing of its new medtech venture capital fund, 415 CAPITAL Fund I. The new fund will invest in medical device companies in Europe, Israel and the United States, with a focus on startups developing groundbreaking technologies to diagnose and treat Cardiovascular disease and its associated risk factors, including coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, stroke, hypertension and vascular disease. The fund will hold a final closing at up to USD100 million (EUR85 million) later in 2020.

AUA Private Equity Partners has acquired Van-Lang Enterprises, a family-owned manufacturer and distributor of appetisers and hors d’oeuvres in the US. Van-Lang serves luxury hotels, private clubs, specialty distributors, banquet houses, and caterers. The transaction was completed on behalf of AUA Private Equity portfolio company Gourmet Culinary Partners (GCP).

CVC Capital Partners’ (CVC) CVC Fund VII is to acquire the Greek, Croatian and UAE businesses of D-Marin, an operator of yacht marinas in the Mediterranean and United Arab Emirates (UAE), from Turkish conglomerate the Doğuş Group.Headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, D-Marin, under concessions or management agreements, is an international operator of premium yacht marinas in Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Turkey and the UAE, with several new locations identified across its current geographical footprint and beyond. All marinas in Turkey (Turgutreis, Didim and Göcek) will remain under the ownership of Doğuş Group while managed by D-Marin.
