Origis Energy has sold a 41MW ground-mounted solar PV portfolio to ForVEI II, a joint venture (JV) between VEI Green and Foresight Group (Foresight).
The 41MW portfolio comprises 34 ground-mounted solar PV projects located in Italy totalling c.37MW and one ground-mounted solar plant of 4MW in Slovakia. The solar plants have been fully operational since 2010-2011 and are remunerated under a long-term Feed in Tariff (FiT) scheme awarded by the GSE.
Financial details relating to the transaction have not been disclosed.

Cynosure develops, manufactures, and markets medical aesthetic treatment systems for dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medical spas, and other healthcare practitioners.The company’s broad portfolio of products spans several major categories, including skin revitalisation, body contouring, hair removal, and women’s health. Cynosure sells its products through a combination of direct sales and distributors in over 130 countries and supports its provider partners with a range of technical, clinical, and support services.

NovaQuest Capital Management, a healthcare and life sciences focused private investment firm, has held the final close of NovaQuest Private Equity Fund I (Fund I) with USD275 million in total capital commitments.
Fund I will continue NovaQuest’s focus on investing in and building leading services and technologies in the healthcare and life sciences sector with a dedicated private equity platform.
Fund I was oversubscribed, hitting its hard cap of USD275 million through strong support from a global investor base including leading insurance companies, pension funds, asset managers, fund of funds, family offices and high net worth individuals.

Aruwa‘s mission is to provide patient growth capital to established and rapidly growing companies in the small to lower middle market and it expects to execute four to five investments, averaging US USD1-5 million, over the next 24 months.

The Alternative Credit Council (ACC), together with global law firm Dechert LLP, has today published its fifth annual flagship Financing the Economy paper.
