Matthew Ingram and Tyrone Courtman, both of Duff & Phelps Ltd, have secured the future of the provision of accessible transport services for the West Midlands with the sale of Accessible Transport Group Limited, Ring and Ride West Midlands Limited and Accessible Transport Group Contract Services Limited, to West Midlands Accessible Transport Ltd, a subsidiary of National Express. First established in 1983 the group, which went into administration earlier this year, provides essential public transport services across Birmingham and the Black Country. Operating over 600 vehicles the group provided door to door transport to 11,000 registered members of the public
Fleetondemand, a European mobility technology provider, has acquired Buckinghamshire-based vehicle management company FleetEurope for an undisclosed sum. The significant deal was funded by Fleetondemand’s current long-term investment partner BGF, which acquired a minority stake in the technology business following a GBP5 million investment last year. Private equity investor Apposite Capital’s dentistry group, Riverdale Healthcare, has made its first bolt-on acquisition further expanding its footprint in North East England. Ropes & Gray advised Hamilton Lane on Hamilton Lane Strategic Opportunities Fund V which has attracted more than USD760 million in commitments from a wide range of global LPs including repeat as well as new investors from Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North and South America.  The Fund announced its final close on 30 July.  The Series is focused on making credit-oriented investments with consistent cash yield, shorter duration and attractive risk-adjusted returns. LDC-backed Fishawack, a leading independent healthcare communications specialist, has acquired US-based healthcare communications agency, 2e Creative, for an undisclosed sum. The deal, which follows the acquisitions of creative consultancy Blue Latitude, Healthcircle Advertising Limited and healthcare marketing agency Dudnyk, marks the fourth acquisition for Fishawack over the past 12 months.
