US private equity firm Horizon Capital has acquired a majority stake in Dobrobut, a private healthcare services provider in Ukraine, via its latest USD200 million fund, Emerging Europe Growth Fund III. KGAL New Frontiers (KNF) has acquired a 22 per cent share of SunErgy AS, a Norwegian company delivering innovative solar power infrastructure in emerging markets. SunErgy AS supplies off-grid electricity to towns in emerging markets. Shearwater Aero Capital, a global corporate aviation finance specialist, enjoyed strong growth in 2018, with the year representing around 60 per cent of its business to date since its launch in 2014. The combined value of aircraft Shearwater Aero Capital has now provided funding against has surpassed USD100 million (USD104 million) for the first time.  It has provided loans worth USD65 million to 15 business aircraft around the world, including the US, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Tosca Debt Capital (TDC) has completed an undisclosed investment to support the merger of Livingbridge portfolio company, Catalyst Development Ltd, with Sionic Advisors. This marks the regional debt fund’s tenth deal from its circa GBP240 million Fund II. Croatian food and retail group Agrokor, represented by Kirkalnd & Ellis, has successfully completed a two-year restructuring process.  With the implementation of the creditor settlement on 1 April, 2019, the new holding company Fortenova Group took over the operative parts of Agrokor, which are now controlled by the former creditors as new shareholders.
