Hg is to acquire a majority interest in Transporeon Group (Transporeon), a global cloud-based business network for industrial logistics, from existing investor TPG Capital (TPG), the private equity platform of global alternative asset firm TPG. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.   Headquartered in Ulm, Germany, Transporeon links manufacturers, retailers, and wholesalers with logistics service providers via the largest network of its kind. The group digitalises the entire logistics supply chain, providing software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that connect a global network of over 1,000 shippers and trading companies, almost 90,000 carriers, and over 100,000 users in over 100 countries.
Private equity firm IK Investment Partners (IK) is to acquire Groupe NetCo (NetCo), a specialist in preventive and curative maintenance of belt and roller conveyors. NetCo will be the fifth acquisition for IK’s Small Cap II Fund, which targets growing businesses within the Benelux, DACH, France, and the Nordics. Fiera Infrastructure, an affiliate of Fiera Capital Corporation, has entered into a long-term partnership with EllisDon Capital, an affiliate of EllisDon Inc, a Canadian Public-Private Partnership (PPP) developer, constructor, and facilities service provider. The newly formed Partnership will acquire EllisDon’s interest in its existing portfolio of PPP projects and have the right of first offer over EllisDon’s future PPP projects for a pre-agreed period. American credit specialist CIFC has launched a UCITS fund as it builds its presence in Europe. The CIFC Global Floating Rate Credit Fund opens up access to the firm’s structured credit expertise for the first time in a UCITS format. The fund will invest in some of the more liquid tranches of collateralised loan obligation (CLO) bonds, investing at least half of its funds in BBB-rated bonds.   The fund, which has launched with commitments of over GBP50 million, is managed by structured credit veteran Jay Huang and is targeting a return of 7-8 per cent pa.   Domiciled in
