Grupa Netsprint, a portfolio company of Innova Capital, has acquired Way To Grow, a specialist in the optimisation of advertising space for publishers in the programmatic model.
Way to Grow was founded in 2014 by Dominik Czarnota, Janusz Michalik and Łukasz Grodecki, who had worked together at sites such as nk.pl and Interia.pl.

Livspace has closed a USD70 million Series C funding round led by global investment funds TPG Growth and Goldman Sachs, with participation from existing investors Jungle Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners and Helion Ventures.
The deal marks the largest Series C round ever raised by a B2C vertical e-commerce company in India.

Independent venture capital firm Truffle Capital has appointed former VEXIM CEO Vincent Gardès as a senior partner in the firm’s BioMedTech team.
Under the leadership of Philippe Pouletty, MD, the team also includes Alain Chevallier and Antoine Pau.
Gardès will have responsibility for generating new investments in the field of medical devices for Truffle Capital’s new BioMedTech fund and will actively support Truffle portfolio companies.

Northleaf Capital Partners (Northleaf) has raised USD2.2 billion in new capital across its global private equity program. Northleaf now manages more than USD11 billion in private equity, private credit and infrastructure commitments on behalf of institutional investors in Canada, Europe and the United States.
The new capital raised for Northleaf’s global private equity program includes commitments to Northleaf Private Equity Investors VII (NPE VII), the firm’s seventh global fund, Northleaf Secondary Partners II (NSP II), the firm’s second specialist secondaries fund that closed above target at USD800 million, and a number of discretionary separately managed accounts that invest alongside Northleaf’s pooled investment funds. Matthew Reid, Associate Director, has relocated from the US in order to lead the London operation.

Private equity investors are shifting their focus away from South Africa and finding opportunities to capture growth in the rest of the continent.

Founded in 1985 by Mike Pizzey, the family-owned business is an independent manufacturer of bespoke filter housings and cartridges. It provides a complete range of standard and customised filter housings and consumables for use in a wide range of industrial sectors. The company has over 1,000 clients across the water, pharmaceutical, automotive and food and drink sectors, and generates revenue of GBP24 million.

Lawyers from Carey Olsen’s corporate team in Jersey have advised the ad-hoc group of secured creditors of Concordia International Corp, a publicly listed international generics pharmaceuticals business with sales in more than 90 countries, on its USD3.7 billion recapitalisation.
The recapitalisation, which was implemented by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement in Canada, reduces Concordia’s total debt from around USD3.7 billion to about USD1.4 billion and allows it to benefit from USD586.5 million of new money raised through a private placement share sale, which will also enable it to execute its future long-term value creation strategy.
