Crypto Valley Venture Capital (CV VC), a new company founded by Zug-based Lakeside Partners and a group of private investors, is to invest in all stages of crypto and blockchain development, from incubation to late stage.

Development Partners International (DPI), a leading Pan-African private equity firm has made an investment through African Development Partners II (ADP II), in Moroccan irrigation systems and solutions business, Compagnie Marocaine de Goutte à goutte et de Pompage (CMGP).
Under the agreement, ADP II has acquired a majority stake in CMGP from existing shareholders, the original founding family, the Moamah family, and Amethis Maghreb Fund I, for a total amount of approximately USD100 million. This will be the largest private equity transaction announced in Morocco in 2018.

Offshore law firm, Mourant Ozannes, has advised Low Carbon, a privately-owned investment company, in connection with the establishment of VLC Renewables Fund I (VLC Renewables).
VLC Renewables was established in Jersey as an unregulated eligible investor fund and structured using Jersey limited partnerships. It was created to invest in renewable energy projects which received initial commitments of EUR200 million from Vitol, one of the world’s largest energy companies.
