Affiliates of certain investment funds managed by affiliates of alternative investment manager Apollo Global Management are to acquire Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited.
The Apollo Funds will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Aspen for USD42.75 per share in cash, representing an equity value of approximately USD2.6 billion.

Purity Brewing Co, one of the UK’s largest independent breweries, has received a GBP7.5 million investment from BGF to support its organic growth strategy.
Founded in 2005 by Paul Halsey and Jim Minkin to brew “great beers with a conscience”, Purity makes high quality beers from its brewery in Great Alne, Warwickshire. Naked Brand Group Limited (Naked), a specialist in intimate apparel and swimwear has entered into a non-binding term sheet to receive a USD25 million strategic investment from Sapinda Holding (Sapinda), a European investment firm and owner of the Italian luxury-lingerie firm La Perla.
If the investment contemplated by the term sheet is completed, Naked says it will provide unique operating synergies, investment capital that would support strategic acquisitions, as well as direct-to-consumer and eCommerce initiatives globally.

Spotinst has raised USD35 million in a Series-B funding round for its AI based workload management platform, which helps companies to manage and optimise their cloud computing spend across several cloud providers.

Mid-market private equity investor LDC has backed the management buyout of global events company FC Business Intelligence (FCBI). The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.

Pamlico Capital (Pamlico) has made a growth equity investment in Airwavz Solutions (Airwavz), a provider of in-building wireless infrastructure.
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, Airwavz owns and operates wireless infrastructure inside commercial office and hospitality buildings in dense metropolitan areas. Salary Finance, a FinTech financial wellbeing platform for employees, has closed a USD20 million Series B investment led by founding investor Blenheim Chalcot and multinational financial services company Legal & General.
