McCarthy Denning has advised Rockpool Acquisitions (Rockpool) in relation to its admission to the Standard Listing segment of the main market of the London Stock Exchange and a related fundraising. Gross proceeds of GBP1,085,000 were raised through the fundraising.
Rockpool is a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (“SPAC”) founded in Northern Ireland and formed to undertake the acquisition of a business based there. Specifically, Rockpool is looking to acquire a highly ambitious, Northern Ireland-based company, with a valuation of up to GBP20 million, to provide that company with access to the deeper pools of capital that the public markets provide.
Shore Capital Partners platform company Argentum Medical has acquired the TheraBond family of products from Alliqua BioMedical (Alliqua).
These products, branded TheraBond with unique SilverTrak technology, include contact dressings, island dressings and wraps for burn care, surgical site care, and wound care.

Experienced investment fund lawyer James Bermingham has joined Ogier’s Luxembourg team as counsel.
Bermingham (pictured), who has experience in City and offshore law firms and as a General Counsel of a global asset manager and private equity administration group, is admitted in England and Wales and is registered on List IV in Luxembourg.
He joins the growing Ogier team in Luxembourg led by practice partner Francois Pfister – the firm marks its fifth anniversary this year, with six partners qualified in Luxembourg law, and over 35 staff in total.
