Century Bridge Capital has successfully exited and repatriated the proceeds from its investment in Ningbo, China.   The fund closed on its investment in the USD122 million, 840 unit development in March 2016 in joint venture with Hong Kong listed national developer, Jingrui Holdings. The investment represents Century Bridge’s second joint venture residential investment with Jingrui following its first investment with Jingrui in Wuxi, China, from which it exited in December of 2016.         Located in an established in-fill location in Ningbo, the development is Phase III of a successful ongoing project and benefited from existing project resources. Osisko Gold Royalties is to acquire a precious metals portfolio of assets consisting of 74 royalties, streams and precious metal offtakes from Orion Mine Finance Group (Orion) for CAD1.125 billion. UK private equity house Maven Capital Partners (Maven) has made a GBP2.5 million VCT qualifying investment in Horizon Cremation Limited (Horizon), which is embarking on an ambitious growth strategy in a sector experiencing increased demand for better quality service and facilities. Linklaters has advised Eni, a multinational oil and gas company, together with its Area 4 partners, CNPC, ENH, GALP and KOGAS on an ECA-backed multi-billion dollar project financing for the USD8 billion Coral South floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Mozambique.  The financing is Africa’s largest ever project financing deal to date. It is also the world’s first project financing of a floating LNG facility.   Daniel Tyrer, Partner, Linklaters, says: “This landmark transaction marks the beginning of a huge development process for Mozambique as it starts to capitalise on the significant natural gas resources in the Rovuma Basin.  
Pan-European mid-market private equity firm Agilitas’ portfolio company Reconor, one of the leading environmental services groups in Denmark, has acquired 100 per cent of Lotra A/S, an environmental services business based in Kolding, Denmark. Financial details for the transaction are not being disclosed.   Founded in 2000 by its CEO Lars Holger Hansen, Lotra offers complete solutions for the collection, treatment and recycling of soil and construction waste. Private equity investor Advent International has signed an agreement to acquire Danish food packaging company Færch Plast A/S (Færch Plast) from private equity fund EQT VI. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Færch Plast is a Danish packaging company that holds a leading position within rigid plastic packaging for the food industry. EMW, the commercial law firm, has advised Northampton-based real estate investment and development business, Barwood Capital on the initial GBP42 million close of its 2017 UK regional property fund. EMW explains that the fund focuses on property assets within the UK’s prime regional markets outside of London. The GBP42m raised will be invested in sites which have the potential to increase in value through careful planning, redevelopment and asset management.
