UK private equity investor LDC has backed the management buyout of Hill Biscuits. European growth private equity investor Keensight Capital has promoted Magdalena Svensson to partner. Svensson has 17 years of experience in the private equity industry. Having started her career in 1998 in Sweden at Swedbank, she joined the Paris office of ABN Amro Capital in 2000 where she was involved in over 20 investments.   She subsequently joined XAnge Private Equity in 2004, following its acquisition of ABN Amro Capital’s activities, first as investment director and then as partner from 2012. In the context of her different positions, Svensson has acquired specific know-how in various sectors, including technology and healthcare.  
Private equity firm IK Investment Partners has opened an office in Amsterdam. The Riverside Company has completed fundraising for its first non-control investment fund, Riverside Strategic Capital Fund (RSCF), at USD418 million in total investable capital (including separately managed accounts), above its target of USD350 million.
