Softbank’s decision to choose a Jersey-based financial services company to administer its USD100 billion technology fund is expected to lead to more funds domiciling in the island. BGF Quoted has provided Accsys Technologies with a GBP12 million investment to support its growth strategy, including the development of the world’s first Tricoya wood chip manufacturing plant in Hull, along with expansion of its existing Accoya facility in the Netherlands.  BGF Quoted has provided funding alongside BP and Medite, the Irish MDF producer, who will own and operate the new site in Hull together with Accsys. Quilvest Private Equity, the private equity arm of the Quilvest group, and Antoine Henry, former head of Sage France, have acquired Eudonet, a publisher and integrator of CRM solutions, from its current founders (Christophe Morizot, Bertrand de La Villegeorges and Guillaume Bouillot) and additional shareholders NAXICAP Partners. The acquisition will be made through an organised divestiture process. German law firm Noerr is opening an office in Hamburg and admitting three partners from White & Case to the partnership, effective 1 April 2017.
