McKay has a strong background in strategic development, sales, marketing and general management, gained in the technology sector.   He is currently chairman at JustGiving, the UK’s largest online fundraising platform; La Fosse Associates; Driftrock; Cambridge Broadband; and Forward Partners. Hamilton Lane has appointed Lydia A Gavalis as general counsel and Frederick W Shaw as chief compliance officer, effective as 1 April. French private equity market participants raised EUR14.7 billion in global commitments during 2016, up 51 per cent relative to 2015, according to a report from the Association Française des Investisseurs pour la Croissance (AFIC) and Grant Thornton. Vantage Power, a London-based hybrid powertrain manufacturer for buses, has secured GBP2.5 million in funding with the former CEO of Barclays Corporate Banking, John Winter, leading the round. Sealed Air Corporation is to sell its Diversey Care division and the food hygiene and cleaning business within its Food Care division (New Diversey) to Bain Capital Private Equity for approximately USD3.2 billion. New Diversey will be a leading hygiene and cleaning solutions company that integrates chemicals, floor care machines, tools and equipment, with a wide range of technology based value-added services, food safety services and water and energy management.   It will continue to employ approximately 8,600 people globally.   Diversey Care and the related food hygiene businesses combined generated net sales of approximately USD2.6 billion in 2016.  
Keli Network, a video publisher that builds vertical social channels and distributes content aimed at millennials, has raised USD2 million from investors including Partech Ventures, Broadway Video Ventures, OneRagTime (the venture platform co-founded by Jean-Marie Messier), and several angel investors. This funding will help fund expansion and exposure of Keli Network’s videos on mobile and social platforms, which in one year has grown to more than 500 million monthly views, mostly in the US.   Leveraging its in-house proprietary trend detector technology “Keli Pulse,” Keli intents to reach over one billion monthly videos views in the coming months.   Keli
