Guernsey is the global finance industry’s number one choice for non-UK entities listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). LSE data shows there were 124 Guernsey-incorporated entities listed on the Main Market and AIM at the end of 2016.   Guernsey added nine new entities to the LSE markets during 2016, which is the same number as its two nearest competitors combined, excluding the UK. Clearwater International has advised MML Capital Partners on its sale of Optionis to Sovereign owned Arkarius Group.  Trading under its brands Parasol and Clearsky, Optionis is a provider of accountancy and employment services to the UK’s flexible workforce.   MML invested in Optionis back in 2013. Private equity firm Constitution Capital Partners (CCP) has held the final close of Ironsides IV and related segregated mandates with total commitments of USD755 million. Ironsides IV was oversubscribed and significantly exceeded the original USD500 million target.   As with its predecessor fund, Ironsides IV will focus on investments in primary funds with USD200 million to USD1.5 billion in commitments and direct investments with enterprise values between USD100 million and USD1 billion.   To date, Ironsides IV has completed four direct investments and seven fund investments.   Commitments to Ironsides IV came from a diverse group of new and existing

Permira Debt Managers (PDM) is acting as sole lender in the refinancing of Away Resorts’ existing debt. Hamburg-based CEE Group is to acquire the Gollenberg wind farm currently under construction in Rheinland-Pfalz from juwi Energieprojekte, the company that is also responsible for the construction stage as general contractor. The wind farm comprises six Vesta V126 turbines. The hub height is 137 m, the rotor diameter is 126 m and the wind farm’s total capacity amounts to 19.8 megawatts (MW).   After commissioning, the turbines will supply environmentally friendly power to about 15,000 households each year.   The wind farm is expected to be fully connected to the grid at the end of January 2017.   CEE Operations,
