Noerr has advised the financing bank consortium on the acquisition of a majority stake in Betten Duscher by the investment company Odewald KMU.
DZ Bank, Bremer Kreditbank and BHF-Bank belong to the consortium.
Odenwald has acquired the company within the scope of a succession arrangement regarding the new fund Odewald KMU II.
The vendors are the shareholders of Betten Duscher, a manufacturer of bed linen and household textiles from Roding in Bavaria. The shareholders remain linked to the company via a management participation and a continuing interest.

CoInvestor, an alternative investment platform for sophisticated private investors, has raised GBP1.1 million in additional capital in under two weeks as it seeks to accelerate its growth six months after its full launch.
The funding builds on pre-existing capital raised from a number of individual and corporate investors, with 60 per cent of the new funds coming from existing shareholders and 40 per cent from new investors.

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has invested EUR40 million in Quaero Capital’s European Infrastructure Fund.
The investment will help stimulate further interest in the fund, which aims to commit EUR250 million in equity financing for social infrastructure, transport, telecoms, energy and public or provide amenities.
The fund invests in the infrastructure project financing market, which translates into small and medium scale operations.

CrossLink is an engineering and manufacturing business based in Cadolzburg near Nuremberg, Germany.

Gemspring Capital, a Connecticut-based private equity firm specialising in lower middle market companies, has held the final closing of its debut fund, Gemspring Capital Fund I, with USD350 million of capital commitments.
The fund was oversubscribed and closed at its hard cap in less than three months after the official launch in August.

More than a third of asset managers plan on increasing investments in commercial loans, alternatives, derivatives, equities and mutual funds over the next 12-month period, according to a survey by SS&C Technologies.
The 2016 Global Insurance Asset Management Technology Outlook survey, which was conducted in Q2 2016, polled 100 insurance and asset management executives in accounting, finance operations, investments, and technology from around the globe.

Over 650 people invested in Wealthify through crowdfunding platform Seedrs, and now share 9.3 per cent equity in the business.
