Investec Growth & Acquisition Finance and Silicon Valley Bank have partnered to support Marlin Equity Partners in the primary buyout of software testing and business assurance company QualiTest.
QualiTest is the second largest pure play software testing and business assurance services company in the world, with operations in the US, the UK, Israel and India.
Founded in 1998, the business services blue chip clients across a variety of sectors including finance, technology and healthcare.
This deal represents Investec’s first transaction with Marlin Equity Partners, a global private equity firm, with over USD3 billion of capital under management. To
SME-focused private equity firm Ambit Pragma has invested in Vidal Healthcare Services, an Indian health and wellness solution provider.
Ambit Pragma is a small cap growth and buyout fund with approximately USD150 million under management.

French asset management firm Amundi is launching a single platform designed to bring its real and alternative assets under one entity and drive its aim of becoming one of the leading alternative asset managers in Europe.
The firm writes that real estate, private debt, private equity, infrastructure and alternative multi-management are now all part of an integrated business, bringing together 200 investment professionals in origination, structuring and management, responsible for EUR34 billion in assets (as at 30th June 2016). Amundi aims to double its funds under management in real and alternative assets by 2020.
