Audax Private Equity has sold Cadence Education to investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Global Private Equity.
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, Cadence is a provider of early childhood education focusing on children ages six weeks to 12 years old.
The company has the capacity to serve more than 20,000 students across its national platform of more than 150 schools across 20 states.
Since Audax’ initial investment and partnership with Cadence’s founder Doug MacKay in 2007, the company has acquired 74 schools in 28 acquisitions and opened 14 greenfield locations.
Regulatory DataCorp (RDC) has been acquired from Bain Capital Ventures and others by Vista Equity Partners, a private equity firm focused on software, data and technology-enabled businesses.
The acquisition will allow RDC to increase its investment in risk and compliance software and data solutions to help prevent financial crime.

Fund administration group Centaur is increasing its product offering and expanding its global footprint by opening an office in Bermuda.
It follows a recent move for Centaur’s European headquarters to larger offices in Dublin’s International Financial Services Centre to accommodate the tenfold increase in employees that Centaur has experienced over the past six years.
The firm now has offices in Dublin, New York, London, Bermuda, and Cayman.

GI Partners has entered into an agreement to acquire Daxko from Pamlico Capital in a recapitalisation transaction with management.
Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, Daxko is a provider of mission critical software to member-based health and wellness organisations. Daxko helps customers achieve operational efficiency, deliver strong fiscal management, and engage their members in meaningful ways.
Pamlico acquired Daxko, in partnership with management, in February 2014, and has supported the company as it completed two acquisitions, added over 50 employees, and grew revenue by approximately 30 per cent per year.

Fried Frank has advised OpCapita on the raising of its second fund, OpCapita Consumer Opportunities Fund II.
Upon close, the fund reached its hard cap of EUR350 million, exceeding its debut fund, OpCapita Consumer Opportunities Fund, which raised EUR110 million when it reached its final close in December 2014.
The fund, which was significantly oversubscribed, builds on strong support from existing global investors, and also attracted new investors.
The fund intends to generate superior returns through a strategy of intense operational turnaround of underperforming businesses in the retail, consumer and leisure sectors in Europe.
