High Access Maintenance, the Manchester headquartered ‘working-at-height’ specialist, has secured a GBP3.3 million investment from BGF (Business Growth Fund) to pursue further growth across the UK.
Founded in 2005 by chief executive Niel Bethell, the business carries out at-height work for major property management firms including CBRE, Savills and Allied London.

Global law firm White & Case has advised Avast Software on its agreement to acquire New York Stock Exchange-listed AVG Technologies, a developer of business, mobile and PC device security software applications, for a total consideration of USD1.3 billion.

Less than a year after the creation of its buy-and-build platform, Alliance Etiquettes has acquired Imprimerie D3, its fourth build-up acquisition.
Founded in 1987, Imprimerie D3 is located in Cépie, in the Languedoc-Roussillon Midi-Pyrénées region, in the department of Aude.
Led by Anthony Gleize, the company has 16 professionals.
Imprimerie D3 joins the Alliance Etiquettes Group, chaired by Olivier Laulan and hitherto composed of Groupe Laulan, Groupe Enes and Maumy Impression.

BGF’s (Business Growth Fund) South West team, based in Reading and Bristol, has invested GBP12 million in Satellite Solutions Worldwide Group (SSW) to support the acquisition of Bristol based Avonline Satellite Services Holdings (ASSH).
Following the acquisition, SSW, which is headquartered in Bicester, will become the largest satellite broadband operator in the UK with significant economies of scale in terms of purchasing power of satellite broadband spectrum. The acquisition will see its customer base expanded to circa 35,000 throughout 31 countries in Europe.
