Audax Private Equity (Audax) has completed the sale of Neptune-Benson (Neptune) to Evoqua Water Technologies (Evoqua), a portfolio company of AEA Investors (AEA).
Evoqua is headquartered in Warrendale, Pennsylvania and is a leader in water and wastewater treatment products, systems, and services for industrial and municipal customers.

Realla.co, a commercial property search engine and marketing automation business, has raised GBP1.5 million from a group of property and technology investors led by Kirsh Family Office and Lloyd Dorfman’s Esselco Group.
Realla seeks to address the fragmented way commercial property is marketed by offering a single, well-presented platform for tenants, investors and agents to source property along with professional features to help commercial agents and landlords market and manage all types of instructions in a highly automated, trackable fashion.

Forentis Fund, a USD50 million special purpose venture fund focused on biotechnology, has committed to provide USD7.5 million in funding to Blueprint Bio, the first of the company’s target portfolio companies to receive a funding commitment.
“Our strategy at Forentis is to provide capital resources and support to our group of selected target portfolio companies,” says Jay Goth, managing partner at Forentis. “This capital infusion will allow Blueprint to further develop their intellectual property portfolio and fund additional discoveries. As the commercialisation engine of our ecosystem, Blueprint will be the first in line for funding.”

The European Investment Bank has agreed to provide GBP 12 million for investment by Newton Aycliffe based Gestamp Tallent Automotive. This will support new investment to strengthen innovation and development of specialised chassis and suspension products at the automative industry component manufacturer.

Deutsche Börse Group has launched a dedicated corporate venture capital (CVC) platform – DB1 Ventures. The DB1 Ventures team will be primarily based in Frankfurt and will undertake new investments as well as actively manage Deutsche Börse’s existing minority shareholdings.
While Deutsche Börse has already made several strategic investments in early stage and mature companies, the new approach is designed to allow the Group to actively manage its existing and new portfolio to realise the full potential of these strategic shareholdings.

Private equity firm Constitution Capital Partners has expanded its investment team with the addition of Dominic Morell as an Analyst, effective 13 June.
Morell returns to Constitution Capital after serving as the firm’s Summer Analyst in 2015. Carey Olsen's listing specialists have advised on the initial public offering (IPO) of Hadrian's Wall Secured Investments Limited on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and its admission to the premium segment of the official list of the UK Listing Authority.
It is the first main market IPO of an investment company this year.
The initial placing has raised GBP80 million. The company will invest primarily in UK commercial loans secured by a range of assets including equipment, plant and machinery, real estate and trade receivables.

Private equity firm OpenGate Capital has signed an agreement with Emerald and PM & Partners, the shareholders and current debt holders, for the acquisition of Alfatherm, a manufacturer of rigid, semi-rigid and flexible PVC films.
The acquisition is expected to be complete in late June. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
