Salvepar has sold MultiPlan Group to Helman & Friedman for EUR29.7 million, which equates to a 3.7x multiple on the firm’s original investment. Salvepar originally invested USD20 million in the acquisition of MultiPlan alongside Starr Investment Holdings in March 2014. The closing of the sale transaction is expected to take place before the end of Q2 2016.
Narrow Gauge Capital (NGC) has acquired a majority stake in SEI Group an installer of glass fibre insulation, spray foam, cellulose, standing seam metal, gutters, fireplaces, garage doors, door hardware, CBUs, and mailboxes for single and multi-family homes, primarily in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Investec Bank’s globally recognised aviation finance arm has successfully closed a USD1 billion operating lease transaction with Emirates Airline, the world’s largest operator of the Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.  The USD1 billion transaction has facilitated the delivery and sale and leaseback of four A380-800s, the world’s largest passenger jet, to Dubai-headquartered Emirates over the past four months. A survey carried out by RSM amongst private equity specialists has revealed that two thirds are planning to vote to remain in the EU when British voters take to the polling booths on 23 June, with only a fifth saying they would be voting to leave. New research from BNY Mellon finds that private equity, real estate and infrastructure managers anticipate strong growth in assets in the next five years.
